I am a 42 year old lawyer in a leadership position. I combine my fulltime job with taking care of my family with four children. The most difficult thing in my life was being in an abusive relationship for nine years and then being harassed for over ten years by that same person. Surviving court case after court case, him contacting friends and family to control me, having people spy on me. Anonymous emails to my employers, and more. This experience helped me to continuously grow, grow my confidence, grow my empathy. As a woman who has experienced abuse and harassment for over nine years, I know first-hand how difficult it is to be strong and confident in the face of adversity. But through all of these challenges, I have grown into a stronger and more determined person. And now, I want to help other women do the same. We need strong women to lead the charge and create positive change in our world. And that is why I am a LeadHERshipper. I enjoy blogging, skiing, hiking, music and spending time with my children.
